Master Planner — Privacy Policy

Master Planner is a private desktop application used by Master Plan Studio Inc. (“we”, “us”) to manage studio operations. It is not offered as a public multi-tenant SaaS product.

1. Information we process

Depending on features you connect, Master Planner may process:

• Business data you store locally (e.g. project notes from your Obsidian vault)
• Accounting data accessed via QuickBooks Online APIs after you authorize the app (customers, invoices, payments, reports, company info)
• Optional AI prompts and responses when you use the co-worker chat (sent to the AI provider you configure)
• Technical logs stored on your device (e.g. audit log of confirmed financial actions)

2. How data is used

Data is used solely to operate Master Planner for Master Plan Studio’s internal business purposes: dashboards, planning, invoicing previews, and authorized bookkeeping actions.

3. Storage and security

• OAuth tokens and settings are stored on your local machine in the application data directory.
• We do not operate a Master Planner cloud database that receives your QuickBooks data by default.
• Financial write actions (e.g. creating invoices) require explicit confirmation in the app.

4. Third parties

• Intuit QuickBooks Online — when you connect QBO, Intuit’s privacy policy and terms apply to data in your QBO company.
• xAI (or other AI providers) — if you configure an API key, chat content may be sent to that provider under their terms.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal or business data. Access is limited to authorized users of the Master Plan Studio installation of Master Planner.

6. Retention

Local settings, tokens, and logs remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the application. Data in QuickBooks Online is retained according to your Intuit account settings.

7. Your rights (Canada / BC)

As the business operator of this private tool, you control connected accounts and local data. You may disconnect QuickBooks at any time via the Intuit app connections page and/or by removing credentials in Master Planner Settings.
